HASI Joins Hands with the Saigon Entrepreneurs Association to Support Central Vietnam Communities After Floods

The Ho Chi Minh City Supporting Industry Association (HASI), in coordination with the
Saigon Entrepreneurs Association, recently organized a two-day charitable mission
from December 15–16 in Phu Yen Province (former) and
Khanh Hoa Province, delivering practical and meaningful support to local
communities severely affected by recent floods.

Throughout the journey, the charitable delegation of nearly 30 members
directly delivered total support valued at over VND 800 million
to 910 households, of which HASI contributed VND 300 million.

Specifically, the delegation handed over VND 650 million in cash
along with essential relief supplies, including:

  • 300 gift sets (mosquito nets and blankets)
  • 180 T-shirts
  • 1,000 LED light bulbs
  • 300 backpacks

These timely contributions helped local residents address urgent difficulties and
gradually rebuild their lives after the floods.

In O Loan Commune, Phu Yen Province (former) and
Dien Dien Commune, Khanh Hoa Province—areas that suffered severe damage
to housing, production activities, and livelihoods—the relief items were carefully
assessed and distributed based on actual needs, ensuring
direct delivery to beneficiaries with transparency and effectiveness.
